Dominus Estate, situated in the heart of Napa Valley’s Yountville AVA, is revered for its dedication to producing wines of exceptional quality and elegance. Established in 1983 by Christian Moueix, the estate combines Old World winemaking tradition with New World innovation to create wines that reflect the unique terroir of its vineyards.
Dominus Estate’s vineyards, meticulously tended and biodynamically farmed, are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot grapes. These exceptional vineyards, coupled with the estate’s commitment to sustainable practices, result in wines of remarkable depth, complexity, and character.
Despite its renown, Dominus Estate maintains a limited production level, with average yearly output totaling around 7,000 to 9,000 cases. This commitment to quality and attention to detail ensures that each bottle of Dominus represents the pinnacle of Napa Valley winemaking.
Dominus, the estate’s flagship wine, is a Bordeaux-style blend that showcases the best of Napa Valley’s terroir. Each vintage of Dominus is celebrated for its seamless integration of flavors, impeccable balance, and graceful aging potential, earning high praise from critics and collectors worldwide.

Our approach is straightforward: we endorse exclusively the most acclaimed vintages from premier wine estates worldwide. By prioritising top critic ratings, we secure lasting value for our investors’ collections. The graph below shows the performance of the most recent vintages with at least 10 years’ worth of performance. Every year the estate will produce a new vintage for that year. Please bear in mind that once a vintage has been produced, it matures in the barrel for 2-3 years before being released on to the market.
