The estate’s vineyards, nestled on gravelly soils along the Gironde estuary, provide the perfect environment for cultivating Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot grapes of exceptional quality.
Lafite Rothschild’s flagship wine, simply known as Lafite, embodies the essence of elegance and refinement. With its signature blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, Lafite wines are celebrated for their finesse, complexity, and age-worthiness. Each vintage reflects the unique characteristics of the terroir and the meticulous craftsmanship of the estate’s winemaking team.

Our approach is straightforward: we endorse exclusively the most acclaimed vintages from premier wine estates worldwide. By prioritising top critic ratings, we secure lasting value for our investors’ collections. The graph below shows the most recent vintages with at least 10 years’ worth of performance. Every year the estate will produce a new vintage for that year. Please bear in mind that once a vintage has been produced, it matures in the barrel for 2-3 years before being released on to the market.
